Amazfit Active Smartwatch Arrives in Nepal

Amazfit has introduced the Active smartwatch in the Nepalese market, joining its Active Edge counterpart as part of an expanding lineup. The device blends elegant aesthetics with comprehensive fitness tracking in a compact package.

Design and Screen Quality

The Active features a square 24 to 27-gram chassis available in three colorways: Midnight Black, Petal Pink, and Lavender Purple. Only the Midnight Black variant is currently on sale locally. It sports a vivid 1.75-inch AMOLED panel with 450 x 390 pixel resolution and a smooth curved edge covering 73 percent of the front surface. The watch carries a 5ATM water resistance rating and an anti-fingerprint coating for easier maintenance.

Power and Health Monitoring

A 300mAh battery fuels the device, delivering up to 14 days on regular use and around 10 days for power users. Health-focused users will appreciate built-in heart rate, SpO2, stress, and sleep monitoring alongside support for over 120 exercise types such as running, swimming, and cycling.

Additional Capabilities

The watch includes GPS tracking across five satellite networks, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and Zepp Coach AI guidance for workouts. Users can also make calls directly from the wrist and store up to 250MB of music internally.

The Amazfit Active retails for NPR 22,499 and can be found at authorized retailers nationwide. The Active Edge model, boasting a more rugged 10ATM build and 16-day battery life, will arrive shortly.
