Amazfit Balance Smartwatch Arrives in Nepal

The Amazfit Balance, unveiled at IFA 2023, is now available in the Nepalese market. This new smartwatch combines a large 1.5-inch AMOLED display with an aluminum alloy frame and offers extensive health and fitness tracking features.

Design and Display

Measuring 46mm in diameter and weighing just 35 grams, the Amazfit Balance sports a sleek aluminum alloy body paired with fabric or silicone straps. It comes in two color options: Sunset Grey and Midnight. The AMOLED touchscreen boasts a sharp 480 x 480 pixel resolution, a 1500 nits peak brightness rating, and a screen-to-body ratio of 73.4%. The watch is water-resistant up to 5ATM and includes an action button alongside a navigation crown.

Health and Fitness Features

Equipped with BioTracker 5.0 and BIA sensors, the Balance tracks heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress levels, and sleep patterns continuously. A new readiness analysis feature evaluates physical and mental recovery each morning, assigning a daily score. For subscribers to the Aura service, AI-powered insights provide personalized recommendations based on long-term data trends.

The smartwatch introduces upper body composition analysis, measuring body fat, muscle mass, water content, bone mass, protein levels, BMI, and basal metabolism. When paired with the Amazfit Analyzer Mat, users can access full-body analysis reports.

Additional Capabilities

The Amazfit Balance supports Zepp Pay, enabling contactless payments across 33 countries including the UK, France, Germany, and Spain by linking bank accounts through the Curve app. It includes over 150 sports modes, 200 customizable watch faces, and operates on Zepp OS 3.0 with support for more than 150 downloadable apps. Integrated voice assistance through Amazon Alexa allows users to control music and cameras directly from the wrist.

Battery Performance

Powered by a 475 mAh battery with magnetic charging, the Amazfit Balance delivers up to 14 days of typical usage on a single charge. With Always On Display enabled, runtime drops to approximately 5 days, while continuous use of dual-band GPS reduces battery life to around 26 hours. In battery-saver mode, the device can last an impressive 25 days.
