Amazfit Launches Cheetah and Cheetah Pro Smartwatches in Nepal with Dual-Band GPS for Runners

Amazfit Cheetah and Cheetah Pro Now Available in Nepal

Amazfit has launched the Cheetah and Cheetah Pro smartwatches in Nepal, targeting runners and fitness enthusiasts with advanced tracking and coaching capabilities. These devices bring premium design, high-resolution displays, and extensive health monitoring to the market.

Design and Display

The Cheetah Pro sports a circular titanium alloy body with a fiber-reinforced polymer middle frame and a 22mm nylon strap adjustable between 150mm and 220mm. It features a bright 1.45-inch AMOLED display with 480 x 480 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, peaking at 1000 nits brightness.

The Cheetah comes in round and square variants. The round model has a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen at 454 x 454 resolution, while the square version boasts a larger 1.75-inch AMOLED panel with 390 x 450 resolution. Both Cheetah models include classic crown and navigation buttons on the side.

Runner-Focused Features

A standout feature of the Cheetah series is the Zepp Coach AI system, which creates personalized training plans based on user goals and adjusts weekly according to progress. In select markets, an AI chatbot demo is available, with plans for a subscription model later. The system supports voice and text commands, mimicking a real coaching session. Additional running tools include Virtual Pacer, Race Achievement Prediction, and Run Track Mode.

Dual-Band GPS and Tracking

Equipped with a dual-band GPS antenna, the watches ensure precise positioning by capturing 100% of L1 and L5 satellite signals. They also offer offline maps and location point saving for outdoor activities.

Health and Fitness Monitoring

The Cheetah series includes comprehensive health tracking such as continuous heart rate monitoring, SpO2 measurement, sleep analysis, and stress monitoring, all powered by the BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor. Users can also perform one-tap measurements for heart rate, SpO2, and stress levels. The watches support over 150 sports modes and can automatically detect 25 strength training exercises.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The Cheetah Pro and Cheetah Round models carry a 440mAh battery, offering up to 14 days of typical use. The Cheetah Square, however, has a smaller 240mAh battery and manages around 8 days under the same conditions. The Pro model additionally supports WiFi, Bluetooth calling, and audio playback, features absent in the standard Cheetah. Both models connect to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.3 through the Zepp app.

Pricing and Availability

The Amazfit Cheetah (Round) is priced at NPR 36,999, while the Cheetah Pro costs NPR 49,999. Both models are now available through authorized retail outlets across Nepal.
