Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e Smartwatches Now Available in Nepal

Amazfit has officially launched the GTR 2e and GTS 2e smartwatches in Nepal, following their global debut in January. These devices arrive as more budget-friendly alternatives to the existing GTR 2 and GTS 2 models, maintaining most of their functionality while omitting a few higher-end features.

The GTR 2e sports a round 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved edge design and tempered glass protection. It is constructed from titanium alloy and offers a 5ATM water resistance rating. Although it lacks the speaker found in the GTR 2, it still supports Bluetooth notifications, music control, and fitness tracking through the BioTracker 2 sensor, which monitors heart rate and blood oxygen levels. The watch includes built-in GPS and GLONASS for accurate outdoor tracking across 90 different sports modes, along with a new temperature monitoring system that records both body and ambient temperatures.

Powering the GTR 2e is a 471mAh battery, which Amazfit claims will deliver up to 24 days of use on a single charge under typical conditions. Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours.

The GTS 2e features a rectangular 1.65-inch AMOLED screen with a sleek, Apple Watch-like design, encased in an aluminum alloy frame and plastic backing. It also carries a 5ATM water resistance rating and utilizes the same BioTracker 2 sensor for health monitoring. New to this model is a temperature sensor, matching the GTR 2e's capability. The GTS 2e supports 90 sports modes, offers offline voice assistance, and provides call and notification alerts, though it too lacks a built-in speaker.

With a 246mAh battery, the GTS 2e is rated for up to 14 days of normal usage, extending to 24 days with minimal functions and dropping to around 7 days under heavy use. A full charge takes roughly 2 hours.

Currently, the Amazfit GTR 2e is priced at NPR 15,499, while the GTS 2e is available at NPR 12,999 following a recent discount. Both models can be found at authorized retail outlets across Nepal.
