Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 Smartwatches Now Available in Nepal With Updated Features

Amazfit has officially launched its GTR 4 and GTS 4 smartwatches in Nepal, following their debut at IFA 2022. These fourth-generation models bring notable upgrades in design, health monitoring, and connectivity, making them strong contenders in the smartwatch market.

The GTR 4 features a classic round design with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, while the GTS 4 adopts a square form factor and a larger 1.75-inch AMOLED screen. Both panels offer vibrant colors and high touch sensitivity, with tempered glass protection and anti-fingerprint coatings. The GTR 4 also includes an anti-glare bezel for reduced eye strain in bright conditions.

Under the hood, both watches utilize the advanced BioTracker 4.0 PPG optical sensor, mounted on a slim 0.4mm glass base that improves data collection by 33 percent over earlier versions. This enhancement supports more accurate heart rate monitoring, even during vigorous exercise, where arm movements can typically disrupt readings.

Health tracking capabilities include continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) measurement, sleep analysis, stress level assessment, and the newly introduced Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) score. The watches also feature dual-band GPS with support for six global satellite positioning systems, ensuring precise route tracking for runners and outdoor athletes.

For fitness enthusiasts, the GTR 4 and GTS 4 offer 150 sports modes in total, including 25 strength training variations and 8 automatically recognized sports movements. Additional features such as a dedicated Golf Swing mode and an advanced Track Run mode cater to specific activity preferences.

Both models run on the refined Zepp OS 2.0 platform and come pre-loaded with native Amazfit apps, while also supporting third-party applications through the Mini App ecosystem. A key addition over previous generations is built-in Bluetooth calling functionality, enabled by integrated speaker and microphone hardware, allowing users to manage calls directly from their wrists.

Battery life estimates suggest up to 14 days of typical use on the GTR 4 and up to 8 days on the GTS 4, with heavy usage scenarios lasting approximately 7 days (GTR 4) and 4 days (GTS 4). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, BLE, and 2.4GHz WiFi, with both models rated for water resistance up to 50 meters (5ATM).

The Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 are now available in Nepal priced at NPR 28,999 each, through authorized mobile retailers nationwide.
