Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation Now in Nepal at a Special Discounted Rate

Apple has introduced the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation in Nepal, bringing notable upgrades such as a USB-C charging port in place of the previous Lightning connector. This change aligns with European Union regulations and matches updates seen in the latest iPhone models. The new version maintains a similar stem-style design with silicone ear tips, now including an extra-small size for better fit options.

The charging case sees cosmetic updates and is now both sweat and water-resistant, featuring a lanyard loop for easy carrying. It includes a U1 chip, enabling users with compatible iPhones to receive guided directions to locate a misplaced case, along with a built-in speaker for added convenience. Users can also personalize the case with Memoji, Animoji, and stickers.

Audio performance sees significant improvements, driven by the new H2 chip that delivers better Active Noise Cancellation, reportedly doubling the noise reduction capability of its predecessor. A new transparency mode can detect and cancel loud environmental noises, useful in noisy settings like construction sites. The earbuds feature a low-distortion audio driver and a custom amplifier, extending the frequency range for richer sound. A personalized spatial audio space can now be created, tailoring the audio experience based on the user's head and ear shape, requiring a profile setup via an iPhone's True Depth camera.

Touch controls have been enhanced, allowing users to adjust volume directly through gestures on the earbud stems, a feature not available in the first generation. Battery life has also improved, offering 6 hours of playback with a single charge when using Active Noise Cancellation, and up to 30 hours with the charging case. The case supports both USB-C wired charging and wireless options through MagSafe and Qi-certified chargers. Both the earbuds and case now carry an IP54 rating, offering better dust and water resistance compared to the previous IPX4 rating.

Currently, the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation is available in Nepal at a special discounted price of NPR 38,500, down from the original NPR 44,500, at authorized Apple retailers nationwide.
