Apple iPad 10.9 (10th Generation) Now Available in Nepal With Updated Features and Pricing

Apple has officially launched the 10th generation iPad 10.9 in Nepal, bringing notable upgrades to its design, performance, and connectivity. This latest entry-level iPad replaces the home button with an all-screen layout, resulting in a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display that offers a resolution of 2360 x 1640 pixels and 500 nits of brightness. The screen retains True Tone technology, oleophobic coating, and compatibility with the first-generation Apple Pencil.

Performance has been enhanced with the inclusion of the Apple A14 Bionic chip, delivering a 20 percent increase in CPU speed and a 10 percent boost in GPU performance compared to the previous model's A13 chip. The neural engine also sees an up to 80 percent improvement in machine learning tasks. Consumers can choose between 64GB or 256GB of storage, along with options for Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi plus 5G connectivity.

For the first time in any iPad model, the 10th generation features cameras positioned in the landscape orientation. It includes a 12MP ultra-wide front camera with a 122-degree field of view and Center Stage functionality for automatic framing, alongside a 12MP rear camera capable of recording 4K video and 240 frames per second slow motion. The audio setup consists of stereo speakers and dual microphones, optimized for video calls and multimedia use.

The device completes Apple's transition from the Lightning port to USB-C, supporting faster data transfer and charging. It also introduces Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for improved wireless performance. A new Magic Keyboard Folio is available as an accessory, featuring a built-in trackpad with multi-touch gestures and a clickable surface.

In Nepal, the base 64GB Wi-Fi only model of the iPad 10.9 (10th Gen) is priced at NPR 78,000, while the 256GB Wi-Fi version costs NPR 99,500. The iPad is available in Silver, Blue, Pink, and Yellow color options and can be purchased from authorized Apple retailers across the country.
