Apple iPad Mini 7 (2024) Now Available at Reduced Prices in Nepal

Apple has introduced updated pricing for its latest compact tablet, the iPad Mini 7 for 2024, now available in Nepal at more accessible price points. Launched globally on October 15, 2024, and began shipping on October 23, this tablet brings notable software enhancements and expanded storage options to users.

The primary improvements come from software updates that bring Apple Intelligence capabilities to the device. Users gain access to advanced writing assistance tools that work across native and third-party applications, an upgraded Siri with deeper system integration, and the ability to connect with ChatGPT for expanded information retrieval. These features will arrive later this month through iPadOS 18.1, which also unlocks support for the Apple Pencil Pro with squeeze and roll functions, Smart Script for handwritten text editing, audio transcription tools, enhanced home screen customization options, RCS messaging compatibility, and a newly added calculator app with advanced math capabilities through Math Notes.

Under the hood, the iPad Mini 7 is powered by the impressive A17 Pro chipset, a significant upgrade from the previous model's A15 Bionic processor. Built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, this chip features a 16-core Neural Engine for AI tasks, a hexa-core CPU configuration with two high-performance cores and four efficiency cores, and a five-core GPU for graphics rendering. The tablet now likely includes 8GB of RAM, aligning with recent iPhone updates to support demanding AI operations.

Storage options have been substantially expanded from the previous generation, offering 128GB, 256GB, and 525GB configurations—a major improvement over the prior model's starting 64GB base. The device retains its compact 8.3-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD display with True Tone, wide P3 color gamut, anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings, and a brightness level of 500 nits, delivering vivid and clear visuals in a portable form factor.

Design-wise, the iPad Mini 7 maintains its familiar aluminum body in four color choices: Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey. It is available in both WiFi-only and WiFi + Cellular variants, with the cellular model supporting 5G networks, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth version 5.3. The tablet includes a 12MP camera on both the front and rear, along with a top-mounted Touch ID sensor for security. A 19.3Wh battery provides up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge.

In Nepal, the iPad Mini 7 (2024) is now available through Dizikart. The base 128GB WiFi-only model is priced at NPR 85,000, down from its original NPR 92,000, while the 256GB variant costs NPR 105,000, reduced from NPR 112,000. The 512GB model pricing was not specified in the current announcement.
