Apple iPad Pro M2 (2022) Price and Specifications in Nepal

Apple recently updated its iPad Pro lineup with the introduction of the M2 chip, delivering major performance improvements over the previous generation. Announced during the 'Take Note' event alongside the redesigned iPad 10th Gen, the new iPad Pro brings notable enhancements in processing power, display capabilities, and software features.

The most significant change is the integration of the M2 chip, which provides up to 15 percent faster CPU performance and 35 percent faster GPU performance compared to the M1. This upgrade enables the iPad Pro to record ProRes video for the first time, along with faster video transcoding speeds. Apple also confirmed that DaVinci Resolve will eventually be available for iPad, though a release date has not been announced.

The new models support iPadOS 16, introducing Stage Manager for better app organization and multitasking. Users can now hover the second-generation Apple Pencil up to 12mm above the screen, allowing for previewing strokes before drawing. Connectivity has been enhanced with Wi-Fi 6E support for faster downloads, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G capabilities.

Display options remain consistent with previous models, offering both 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes with ProMotion 120Hz refresh rates. However, the 11-inch model still uses an LED-backlit Liquid Retina display, while the larger 12.9-inch model features a mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR screen with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content.

Camera hardware remains unchanged, with a 12MP wide and 10MP ultra-wide rear setup, along with a 12MP ultra-wide front camera featuring Center Stage. Both models include a quad-speaker setup and five high-quality microphones.

In Nepal, the 11-inch iPad Pro M2 starts at NPR 132,500 for the 128GB WiFi model, while the 12.9-inch version begins at NPR 184,500. Cellular variants are not yet available locally. The devices can be purchased from authorized Apple retailers across Nepal.

Key specifications include the M2 chip with up to 16GB of RAM and options for up to 2TB of storage, USB-C connectivity supporting Thunderbolt and USB protocols, and a range of sensors including a LiDAR scanner.
