Apple has officially launched its refreshed iPad Pro lineup in Nepal, featuring the new M4 chip and advanced OLED displays across both the 11-inch and 13-inch models. This update marks a major step forward in performance and display technology for the popular tablet series.

Built on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process, the M4 delivers exceptional efficiency and power. It offers up to 1.5 times faster CPU performance and up to four times better GPU performance compared to its predecessor. The neural engine also sees a significant boost, now capable of up to 38 TOPS, making it the most powerful to date.

Enhanced OLED Displays

Both new iPad Pro sizes feature innovative tandem OLED screens that combine two layers of OLED technology. This results in impressive brightness levels of 1000 nits for standard content and a peak of 1600 nits for HDR content. The displays also introduce improved XDR precision, allowing sub-millisecond control over individual pixel color and luminance. Additional display features include smooth 120Hz ProMotion, wide P3 color gamut, and True Tone support.

Thinner, Lighter Design

Apple has redesigned the iPad Pro’s body for improved portability. The 11-inch model measures just 5.3mm thick, while the 13-inch version is an astonishing 5.1mm, making it the thinnest Apple product ever. Weight reductions are also notable, with the 11-inch model weighing 444 grams and the 13-inch model coming in at 579 grams, over 100 grams lighter than its predecessor. An optional “Nano-textured” glass finish is available for an additional fee, providing a glare-free experience without sacrificing image quality.

Updated Features and Accessories

The new iPad Pros come with several enhanced features, including a relocated 12MP front camera in landscape orientation, similar to the iPad Air. The rear camera setup includes a 12MP sensor with LiDAR scanner and an adaptive True Tone flash housed in a rectangular island. Audio capabilities have been expanded with four speakers and four microphones. Storage options now start at a base configuration of 256GB, a significant increase from previous models.
