Apple Launches Upgraded Mac Pro with M2 Ultra Chip in Nepal

After four years since the last update, Apple has refreshed its Mac Pro lineup with a new model for 2023, powered by the M2 Ultra chip. This processor delivers a 30 percent speed improvement over the previous M1 Ultra and includes a 24-core CPU setup, with support for up to a 76-core GPU and 192GB of unified memory. The Mac Pro can drive up to eight displays and manage 22 streams of 8K video simultaneously, offering a memory bandwidth of up to 800GB/s.

The design remains familiar, retaining the iconic cheese grater look, and is available in either a horizontal rack or vertical tower format. Connectivity includes eight Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB-A ports, two high-bandwidth HDMI ports capable of 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, two Ethernet ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

In terms of storage, the Mac Pro offers options from 1TB to 8TB SSD, with seven PCIe expansion slots—six supporting Gen 4 and one Gen 3. The device is cooled by an advanced thermal system with fans, ensuring quiet operation despite its high performance.

The official price for the Mac Pro 2023 in Nepal is NPR 1,170,000 for the base model, which includes a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 64GB of unified memory, and a 1TB SSD. It is now available for pre-order through authorized Apple retailers in the country.
