Asus TUF Dash F15 (2022) Launches in Nepal with Updated Specs and Performance

Nagmani International, the official distributor for Asus in Nepal, has introduced the TUF Dash F15 (2022), a new addition to the gaming laptop lineup. This model targets gamers seeking capable performance in a more portable and budget-friendly design compared to the standard TUF Gaming F15 series.

The TUF Dash F15 (2022) stands out with its 12th Gen Intel Core processors, offering either the Core i5-12450H or the more powerful Core i7-12650H. Both processors feature the same power configurations as their full-sized counterparts found in the regular F15 but with reduced efficiency cores, making this model a balanced choice for users prioritizing portability without sacrificing too much performance.

Graphics options range from the RTX 3050 to the RTX 3070, and a new MUX switch allows users to connect the discrete GPU directly to the display, bypassing the integrated graphics and reducing latency. According to Asus, enabling this direct GPU mode through Armoury Crate can boost average performance by 5 to 10 percent.

Cooling is handled by two Arc Flow fans with 84 blades designed to minimize air collision and anti-resonance, providing up to 13 percent more airflow. The laptop includes five heat pipes and four exhaust vents to maintain thermal efficiency during extended gaming sessions. It supports DDR5 memory at 4800 MHz in 8GB or 16GB configurations, with an option to upgrade to 32GB later. Storage is expandable via dual M.2 slots for PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSDs.

Design-wise, the TUF Dash F15 (2022) follows the mecha-inspired aesthetic of the broader TUF Gaming series, featuring an aluminum lid available in Off Black or Moonlight White. Despite a primarily plastic build, the laptop meets military-grade MIL-STD-810 certifications for durability.

The display is a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and Adaptive-Sync support, offering full HD resolution and covering 62.5 percent of the sRGB color space. Connectivity includes two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports (one with Thunderbolt 4 support), HDMI, Ethernet, and a combined audio jack. Wireless options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The keyboard is a full-size backlit chicklet design with a 1.7mm travel, and the touchpad has been enlarged by 27 percent. Stereo speakers feature Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certifications, while a 76Wh battery provides mobility.

In Nepal, the Asus TUF Dash F15 (2022) is available from Nagmani International and authorized Asus retailers. The base model with a Core i5-12450H processor, RTX 3060 GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD is priced at NPR 181,000. The top configuration, featuring a Core i7-12650H CPU, RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD, is available for NPR 210,000.
