Beats by Dre has launched the Powerbeats Fit, a refreshed version of its popular Fit Pro wireless earbuds. The main change comes in the design, particularly the wingtip, which has been trimmed to sit comfortably at the tip of the ear. Beats claims this new wingtip offers 20% more flexibility, providing better comfort and stability during workouts. The company also includes four ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, and L) to ensure a proper fit for all users.

The charging case has been reduced by 17% in size, making it more portable while featuring a tighter hinge and a premium look. However, with an IPX4 splash resistance rating for both the earbuds and case, the water resistance may feel somewhat lacking for dedicated workout users.

Audio Performance and Features

Powered by Apple's H1 chip and custom 9.5mm drivers, the Powerbeats Fit supports dynamic head tracking, Adaptive EQ, and Personalized Spatial Audio for an immersive listening and gaming experience. While some early reviews suggest the audio quality trails slightly behind the AirPods Pro 3, the earbuds still deliver solid performance. Users can pair the Powerbeats Fit with both Apple and Android devices. The Beats app for Android offers features like "Locate My Beats" and "Fit Test." When used with an iPhone, users gain access to features such as Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, hands-free Hey Siri, Find My, and more.

The earbuds include active noise cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode. Each bud features three microphones total, with dual beam-forming mics to enhance call clarity.
