Blackview Wave 2C Launches in Nepal as Budget-Friendly Android Phone

Blackview, previously recognized for its budget tablets in the Nepali market, has now expanded into smartphones with the launch of the Wave 2C. Targeting first-time smartphone buyers and those seeking value for money, this device offers essential features at an exceptionally low cost.

The Wave 2C sports a straightforward design with flat edges and a glossy rear, available in Shadow Black and Blaze Orange color options. Its 5-inch TFT LCD screen has a 480p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, along with a typical brightness of 350 nits and a peak of 400 nits. While the display lacks modern edge cuts like punch-holes or notches, it remains adequate for everyday activities such as browsing and video streaming.

Powering the phone is the Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset, built on a 28nm process and featuring an octa-core CPU arrangement with four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6 GHz and four Cortex-A75 cores at 1.2 GHz. This processor is tailored for light usage, handling social media and casual gaming reasonably well. Memory configuration includes 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of eMCP storage, with expandable capacity supported through a dedicated microSD card slot. The device ships with Android 16 in its Go Edition, optimized for lower-spec hardware.
