CG Debuts Affordable 65-inch 4K LED Smart TV in Nepal

CG Electronics has marked its 10th anniversary by launching a 65-inch 4K LED Smart TV, making Ultra HD resolution available at an affordable price point for Nepali consumers. The launch event took place on January 27 at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza.

As a well-known local brand, CG has built a reputation for offering LED smart TVs that are both budget-friendly and reliable, often undercutting multinational competitors on price while maintaining solid quality standards. This new 65-inch model is the company’s first foray into 4K television, aiming to bring premium picture quality within reach of more buyers.

The TV is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU paired with a quad-core GPU, along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. It utilizes an unspecified picture engine and an A+ panel that delivers bright, vivid visuals with a peak brightness of 350 nits. For audio, CG has incorporated a specially designed speaker system that promises clear and rich sound.

Connectivity is robust, featuring four USB ports, three HDMI ports, an RJ45 Ethernet port, a VGA port, a tuner input and output, composite video out, and separate L/R audio outputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

When considering whether to upgrade to a 4K TV, the decision hinges on individual needs and long-term value. For budget-conscious buyers seeking decent performance for everyday use, a Full HD TV may suffice since most content remains in that resolution. However, for those viewing electronics as an investment, a 4K TV makes sense.
