Cinemaghar Gold Relaunches to Stream Nepali Films Worldwide

The pandemic has severely disrupted global cinema, prompting new approaches to distribution and consumption. In Nepal, Cinemaghar Gold has emerged with a refreshed platform to serve local film lovers. Originally launched in 2016, the service now targets a worldwide audience through enhanced payment options and a simplified annual plan priced at NPR 500.

The service supports local payment methods such as eSewa and Khalti, with plans to add Indian options like PayTM. Users without digital access can borrow "Cine Coins" from others to subscribe. The platform currently features 18 select Nepali films, short films, and comedies, with regular monthly additions planned. It will prioritize original content before releasing titles on YouTube, collaborating with local distributors to secure exclusive releases.

Cinemaghar Gold offers Full-HD streaming across all regions without regional content variation. While advanced features like HDR are not yet available, the service includes security measures such as screen-record prevention. Subscriptions allow access on up to two devices simultaneously. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or as an APK for Android, with Chromecast support available for TV viewing.

This initiative not only expands access to Nepali cinema but also supports local filmmakers and creates new opportunities within the industry.
