Clicks Unveils Communicator: A Minimalist Secondary Phone With Physical Keyboard Support

Clicks has introduced the Clicks Communicator, a streamlined secondary smartphone created for users who want a device solely for calls and messages, free from social media apps and other digital distractions. Unlike conventional smartphones packed with numerous features, the Communicator is marketed as a companion device that encourages focused communication. According to Adrian Li, CEO and co-founder of Clicks, there is a rising interest in tools that help people engage confidently without unnecessary interruptions. The company, already popular for its iPhone physical keyboard accessory that has sold over 100,000 units worldwide, positions this new device as an extension of that philosophy.

The Clicks Communicator measures 130.5mm by 78.63mm by 12mm and weighs 170g, housing a compact 4.03-inch AMOLED display, which feels intentionally small by today’s standards. It operates on Android 16 and includes Android Strongbox security, offering 256GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The phone supports dual SIM configurations, including an eSIM, and is compatible with 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G networks.

On the photography side, the device sports a 50MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 24MP front camera for video calls or self-recording. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a substantial 4,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, Qi2 wireless charging, and USB-C charging. Connectivity options cover Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.

In addition to the Communicator, Clicks announced the Clicks Power Keyboard, a versatile typing accessory designed for phones, tablets, smart TVs, and other devices. The keyboard can connect to multiple gadgets simultaneously without the need for manual switching, supports MagSafe and Qi2 magnets for stable attachment, and can be used independently. It carries a 2,150mAh battery that not only powers the keyboard but can also wirelessly charge a smartphone through MagSafe or Qi2.

The Clicks Communicator will become available later in 2026, priced at USD 499, which translates to an expected NPR 65,999 in Nepal. However, specific availability details for Nepal and other markets beyond the initial launch have not yet been announced.
