At CAN Infotech 2015, Colors Mobile unveiled its first Windows-powered smartphone, the Win W10, now available for purchase in Nepal at NPR 16,000. Best known for affordable Android devices, the local brand has partnered with Microsoft to deliver its inaugural Windows Phone. We had a hands-on opportunity with the model during the event.
The Colors Win W10 sports a 4.7-inch HD IPS display paired with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. Storage includes 8GB onboard with support for up to 32GB of expandable memory. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, sufficient for the Windows platform. The device includes proximity, gravity, and light sensors, plus dual-SIM capability.
A 1750mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of talk time and 150 hours on standby. Connectivity covers 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
