Dell 16 Plus (2025) Launches in Nepal with Powerful Intel Core Ultra Processors

Dell has updated its laptop lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Dell 16 Plus (2025), now classified under the Dell brand following recent product line restructuring. This model brings Intel's Core Ultra Series 2 processors to the market, offering strong performance in a sleek, portable design.

The Dell 16 Plus (2025) sports a premium aluminum construction with a minimalist aesthetic, available only in an Ice Blue finish. It features a smooth 180-degree hinge, a built-in fingerprint reader, and weighs approximately 1.87 kilograms. The laptop sports a bright 16-inch IPS display with 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600), a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB coverage, and ComfortView Plus technology to reduce blue light exposure.

Under the hood, the Dell 16 Plus is powered by Intel's Core Ultra Series 2 processors. The base configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, an octa-core processor with speeds up to 4.8 GHz, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The higher-end variant upgrades to an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, offering speeds up to 5.1 GHz, 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of SSD storage. Both versions utilize Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics and include a dedicated NPU for AI tasks, delivering up to 48/49 TOPS of performance. As a certified Copilot+ PC, the laptop supports advanced AI features such as Windows Recall, Live Captions, and Windows Studio Effects for enhanced video conferencing, aided by a full HD 1080p webcam.

Connectivity options include WiFi 7 support and a comprehensive port selection featuring Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C and Type-A ports, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. Audio is handled by a dual-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, offering a total output of 5W. The laptop includes a 64Wh battery, which Dell claims can last up to 20 hours of video playback, though real-world use under typical workloads is expected to yield around 10 to 12 hours of battery life.

The Dell 16 Plus (2025) is now available in Nepal through authorized Dell distributors. The base model with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor is priced at NPR 223,000, while the higher-end configuration with the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor retails for NPR 311,500. Both models come with a standard three-year warranty.
