Dell G15 5520 (2022) Gaming Laptop Launched in Nepal With Updated Specs and Competitive Pricing

Dell has updated its G15 budget gaming laptop line with the G15 5520 model for 2022, bringing Intel's latest 12th Gen Alder Lake processors to the platform. This refresh brings improved performance for gamers looking for capable hardware without breaking the bank.

The G15 5520 is available in Nepal with two processor options: the Intel Core i5-12500H and the more powerful Core i7-12700H. Both processors feature hybrid architecture with high clock speeds, delivering smooth gaming and multitasking performance. Graphics options include the NVIDIA RTX 3050 with 4GB GDDR6 for the i5 model, and the RTX 3050 Ti for the i7 configuration. All models come standard with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, with room for upgrades through available SO-DIMM slots.

Visually, the laptop retains its popular Alienware-inspired design language from last year, with a slim profile and aggressive styling. It is offered in three color choices: Obsidian Black, Dark Shadow Grey, and a special Specter Green edition. On the display side, buyers get a 15.6-inch anti-glare IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD resolution, though faster 165Hz FHD and 240Hz QHD options exist in other markets but are not currently available in Nepal.

Powering the system is a 56Whr three-cell battery, paired with a robust 180W AC adapter. Connectivity includes four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (one Type-C and three Type-A), HDMI 2.1 support, Ethernet, a combined headphone-microphone jack, and Intel's AX201 wireless module providing Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The higher-end configuration featuring the Core i7-12700H and RTX 3050 Ti is priced at NPR 155,000.
