Dell Inspiron 14 5420 (2022) Now Available in Nepal with Updated Pricing

The Dell Inspiron 14 5420 (2022) has arrived in the Nepalese market, bringing a thin and lightweight ultrabook option tailored for students and business professionals. Distributed officially by Max International and Neo Store, this model balances portability with solid performance for everyday computing needs.

With a sleek aluminum chassis that weighs only 1.54 kilograms, the laptop is easy to carry around campus or the office. The 14-inch display comes in two options: a standard FHD+ (1920 x 1200) IPS panel with 250 nits brightness or an optional 2.2K (2240 x 1400) IPS screen that reaches 300 nits and covers 100% of the sRGB spectrum. Both displays feature an anti-glare coating and ComfortView technology to reduce eye strain during extended use.

Under the hood, the Inspiron 14 5420 is powered by Intel’s 12th Gen processors, available in either the Core i5-1235U or the more powerful Core i7-1260P, which boasts 12 cores and Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.7 GHz. Depending on the configuration, users can choose between Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics or an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX570 with 2GB GDDR6 for light gaming or creative work. Memory options include 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 3200 MHz, paired with either a 512GB or 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast storage.

Connectivity is handled by Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, with a port selection that includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Type-C with Power Delivery and DisplayPort, an HDMI 1.4 port, a standard audio jack, and a power adapter port. However, the laptop does not include an SD card reader or an Ethernet port.

A 54Wh battery provides decent endurance for daily tasks, supported by Intel’s power-efficient architecture. Official pricing in Nepal starts at NPR 115,000 for the base configuration with the Core i5-1235U, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD in the FHD+ display. The higher-end model featuring the Core i7-1260P, NVIDIA MX570 graphics, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD and the 2.2K display is priced at NPR 122,000. Both models are available now through authorized Dell retailers across Nepal.
