Dell Inspiron 16 5625 Launches in Nepal With Ryzen 5000 CPUs and a Large Display

Dell has expanded its Inspiron series in the Nepali market with the launch of the Inspiron 16 5625. This model brings a sizable 16-inch display paired with AMD Ryzen 5000-series processors, making it a strong contender for users seeking a capable everyday laptop.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 boasts a 16-inch IPS screen with FHD+ resolution and anti-glare coating, supported by Dell’s ComfortView technology for reduced eye strain. While a 3K variant exists globally, it is not yet available in Nepal. The laptop features a metallic top and frame with a plastic base, weighing in at 1.97 kg and measuring 15.67mm at its thickest point.

Despite its large keyboard area, the Inspiron 16 5625 does not include a dedicated numeric keypad. Instead, Dell utilizes the extra space for top-firing speakers on either side, delivering decent audio quality. The keyboard offers good key travel and two levels of white backlighting, while the power button integrates a fingerprint scanner. An FHD webcam with a physical shutter and dual-array microphone sits in the top bezel.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 5625U or Ryzen 7 5825U processors, which are enhanced versions of the Ryzen 5 550U and Ryzen 7 5700U with higher boost clocks and larger cache. Users can configure up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM across two SODIMM slots, allowing for upgrades down the line. Storage options reach up to 1TB of NVMe SSD.

Connectivity includes two USB Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting DisplayPort and Power Delivery, an HDMI 1.4 port, a microSD card reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. Battery options vary between a 41Whr and a larger 54Whr pack, with a 65W round-pin charger included.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is now available in Nepal, priced at NPR 106,000 for the Ryzen 5 model with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, and NPR 122,000 for the Ryzen 7 variant with the same configuration.
