Dell has unexpectedly brought back the XPS brand just one year after announcing its retirement. At CES 2026, the technology giant unveiled the new Dell XPS 14 (DA14260), reversing last year’s decision to retire the XPS name in favor of “Dell Premium.”
The laptop retains its premium CNC-milled aluminum body with Gorilla Glass 3 on the palm rest, weighing 1.36kg and ideal for portability. Display options include a 14-inch 2.8K Touch OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and Dolby Vision HDR, or a 2K LCD panel with a 120Hz variable refresh rate for power efficiency.
Performance comes from Intel’s latest Panther Lake processors, ranging from the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 to the high-end Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, paired with up to 64GB LPDDR5X RAM and 4TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage. The new NPUs deliver 50 TOPS of AI performance.
Connectivity includes three Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1, plus a 3.5mm headphone mic combo, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 6. A 70Wh battery is claimed to deliver up to 40 hours of local video playback, supported by a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos tuning.
The base model starts at USD 2049 for the Graphite color, with additional configurations arriving in February. In Nepal, the base variant is expected to carry a price tag of NPR 295,999.
