Dell XPS 15 and XPS 17 2023 Models Now Available in Nepal With Updated Specs

Dell has refreshed its premium Ultrabook range with the 2023 versions of the XPS 15 and XPS 17, bringing major updates through 13th-generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series graphics. Both models combine sleek, durable designs with powerful internals, making them strong contenders in Nepal’s high-end laptop market.

The XPS 15 sports a 15.6-inch screen offered in FHD or 3.5K resolutions, with an optional OLED touchscreen, while the XPS 17 expands this to a larger 17-inch panel that supports FHD, 4K, or OLED touch options. Both laptops feature slim bezels that boost screen-to-body ratios to around 93 percent, delivering an immersive viewing experience. The XPS 17 additionally covers 100 percent of the AdobeRGB color space, ideal for creative users.

Under the hood, the XPS 15 and XPS 17 utilize Intel’s 13th-gen 'Raptor Lake' processors, ranging from a Core i5-13500H to a high-performance Core i9-13900H. Graphics options span from Intel Arc A370M to NVIDIA RTX 4070 for the XPS 15, while the XPS 17 can be configured with an RTX 4080 for maximum power. A dual-fan cooling system and Dell’s dedicated performance tuning software help manage thermals during intensive workloads.

Memory configurations allow up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM at 4800 MHz paired with SSD storage capacities reaching up to 8TB. Security features include Windows Hello support via fingerprint scanning and facial recognition, alongside a crisp 720p webcam and dual-array microphones for video conferencing.

Each model packs a substantial battery: the XPS 15 carries an 86Wh unit, while the XPS 17 holds a larger 97Wh pack. Both ship with a 130W USB-C power adapter for fast recharging. The laptops also feature expansive glass touchpads, full-featured backlit keyboards, and a quad-speaker audio system tuned with Waves NX 3D technology for rich sound.

In Nepal, pricing for the XPS 15 begins at NPR 210,000 for a configuration with a Core i7-13700H processor, Intel Arc A370M graphics, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Mid-range models with RTX 4050 graphics and a 3.5K OLED touchscreen cost NPR 395,000. The top-end XPS 15, equipped with an RTX 4060, retails for NPR 440,000. The XPS 17 follows a similar pricing structure but reflects its larger display and more powerful GPU options.
