DJI Mavic 3 Classic Now Available in Nepal at Competitive Pricing

DJI has introduced the Mavic 3 Classic in Nepal, positioning it as a more budget-friendly option compared to its flagship Mavic 3 model. While it shares many core capabilities with the higher-end drone, the Classic omits the telephoto lens, making it an appealing choice for those seeking premium features without the premium cost.

The Mavic 3 Classic retains the same robust 20MP Four Thirds CMOS camera as the Mavic 3, capable of recording in 5.1K at 50 frames per second, along with 4K at 60 frames per second and slow-motion options up to 1080p at 200 frames per second. It features a 24mm equivalent lens with an adjustable aperture from f/2.8 to f/11, providing 12.8 stops of dynamic range. The drone supports automated shooting modes such as Quickshots, timelapse, hyper-lapse, and panorama, alongside ActiveTrack 5.0 for stable subject tracking.

Safety and navigation are handled by eight visual sensors working with APAS 5.0 obstacle avoidance, which autonomously reroutes the drone around obstacles. The Return To Home system scans a 200-meter radius to find the safest path back, while ADS-B signals help detect nearby aircraft in crowded areas. DJI's GEO 2.0 geofencing alerts users to potential flight restrictions and hazards. The O3+ transmission system, introduced with the Mavic 3, offers a control range of up to 15 kilometers and a live video feed at 1080p/60 frames per second, extending to 30 kilometers in Sport mode.

Powering the Mavic 3 Classic is a 5000mAh battery, delivering approximately 46 minutes of maximum flight time and around 40 minutes of hover time. It uses a 65W charging adapter and requires roughly 96 minutes for a full charge.

The drone measures 221 by 96.3 by 90.3 millimeters when folded and 347.5 by 283 by 107.7 millimeters when unfolded, with a takeoff weight of 895 grams. It supports various speed modes, with ascent and descent speeds reaching up to 8 meters per second in Sport mode.

In Nepal, the Mavic 3 Classic is available in three configurations: the Fly More Kit Part alone for NPR 82,500, the drone with a normal controller for NPR 286,000, and the most complete package with a smart controller priced at NPR 285,000. It can be purchased from authorized DJI retailers across the country.
