DJI Mavic 3 Pro Arrives in Nepal With Triple Camera System

DJI has officially introduced the Mavic 3 Pro in Nepal, a powerful upgrade that sets a new standard for the brand’s aerial platforms. This model stands out as the first drone in DJI’s lineup to incorporate three distinct cameras, providing users with extraordinary flexibility for capturing high-quality photos and videos from multiple perspectives.

The Mavic 3 Pro’s main camera carries over from the Mavic 3, featuring a 20MP 4/3-inch CMOS sensor tuned by Hasselblad. It captures 12-bit RAW images with a dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops and records video at up to 5.1K at 50 frames per second or DCI 4K at 120 frames per second. A new 10-bit D-Log M color mode enables recording with one billion colors and natural gradients, especially helpful during high-contrast scenes like sunrises or sunsets, and simplifies post-production color grading.

In addition to the main camera, the drone includes a telephoto camera with a slightly adjusted focal length of 166mm and an expanded aperture of f/3.4, capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second. The newest addition is a medium-telephoto camera with a 70mm lens and a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor, offering 3x optical zoom and supporting 4K video at 60 frames per second.

For creators requiring professional-grade video workflows, the Mavic 3 Pro Cine variant adds Apple ProRes recording (422 HQ, 422, and 422 LT) across all three cameras, paired with a robust 1TB internal storage drive. Though slightly heavier at 963 grams compared to the standard Pro’s 958 grams, the Cine version otherwise matches its capabilities.

Despite the advanced features, the Mavic 3 Pro still manages a maximum flight time of approximately 43 minutes, though using DJI’s APAS 5.0 obstacle avoidance system during video recording can reduce this time. The drone continues to utilize O3+ video transmission technology for a stable 1080p/60 live feed to the DJI RC controller. It also integrates DJI’s LightCut editing app, offering tools like AI-powered one-tap editing and intuitive shooting modes such as FocusTrack, MasterShots, QuickShots, and Panorama.

The Mavic 3 Pro is available now in Nepal, priced at NPR 432,000 for the base model with the DJI RC controller. The Fly More Combo, which adds two extra batteries, a charging hub, and ND filters, is priced at NPR 528,000. For professionals needing Apple ProRes support and a 1TB SSD, the Cine Premium Combo costs NPR 645,000. The drone can be purchased from any authorized DJI retailer or platform.
