DJI OM 4 Gimbal with Magnetic Clamp Now on Sale in Nepal

DJI, well known for its drones, has expanded into smartphone gimbals with the launch of the DJI OM 4, now available for purchase in Nepal. This latest gimbal introduces a magnetic clamp system that replaces the traditional mechanical clamp, allowing users to attach their phones quickly and securely in two different ways: using an ultrathin magnetic clamp or by snapping the phone's back to a magnetic ring holder, which can also function as a standalone stand.

The OM 4 retains much of the design from its predecessor, the Osmo Mobile 3, but is slightly more compact and lighter, weighing 390 grams compared to the OM 3's 405 grams. It features an improved motor that can handle smartphones weighing up to 230 grams. The device comes with several upgraded software features such as Dynamic Zoom, which zooms in and out as the user moves toward or away from a subject, Active Track 3.0 for more accurate tracking of adults, pets, and children, and CloneMe Pano, which allows users to appear in multiple spots within a panorama by capturing several photos. Additional features include Spin Shot Gimbal Movement accessible through the DJI Mimo app, Story Mode, Gesture Control, Flashlight mode, Quick Roll, Slow Motion, and various panoramic modes.

The OM 4 maintains the 3-axis stabilization of the Osmo Mobile 3 and shares the same button layout. It is powered by a 2450 mAh battery that provides up to 15 hours of use and can be recharged in about 2.5 hours using a 10W USB Type-C charger. The accompanying DJI Mimo app includes a video editor and tutorials for beginners.

Key specifications include dimensions of 276 x 119.6 x 103.6mm when unfolded and 163 x 99.5 x 46.5mm when folded, a gimbal weight of 390 grams, and compatibility with phones weighing between 170 to 290 grams, with widths from 67 to 10mm and thicknesses from 6.9 to 10mm. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 and USB Type-C.
