DJI Osmo Action 3 Arrives in Nepal

DJI has unveiled the Osmo Action 3, the newest addition to its popular line of action cameras, and it is now available in Nepal. As the most powerful model in DJI’s Osmo series so far, this camera brings several impressive upgrades designed for users who need reliable performance in challenging environments.

Design and Durability

The Osmo Action 3 adopts a single-piece construction reminiscent of the original Osmo Action, making it both robust and easy to handle. It can go underwater up to 16 meters without any protective case, and an optional case extends that depth to 60 meters for deeper dives. For the first time in the Osmo lineup, the Action 3 includes dual touchscreens—one on the front and one on the back—allowing users to adjust settings from any angle. Both screens are shielded by Gorilla Glass and can survive drops of up to 1.5 meters, plus they feature a hydrophobic coating to keep functionality even with wet fingers.

Videography Capabilities

Equipped with a sizable 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor, the camera can capture smooth 4K footage at both 60 and 120 frames per second, along with a wide 155-degree field of view. It also provides three stabilization options to suit dynamic shooting styles: RockSteady 3.0 for steady first-person views at up to 4K/120fps, HorizonSteady to eliminate shake from all directions and keep the horizon level, and HorizonBalancing, which corrects horizon tilt by up to 45 degrees. The Osmo Action 3 can also record vertical videos, and a protective frame with two attachment points makes switching between horizontal and vertical modes quick and simple.

Additional Features and Battery Life

When filming at 1080p/30fps without electronic image stabilization and with the screen turned off, the camera can run for around 160 minutes. DJI has enhanced thermal management, enabling continuous 4K/60fps recording until the battery depletes. Charging is fast, with the device reaching 80 percent capacity in just 18 minutes, although a full charge takes approximately 40 minutes.
