Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with Advanced Features and Sleek Design

Samsung has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, joining the recently announced Galaxy Tab S11 series. This premium model brings notable upgrades in design, performance, and functionality, aimed at productivity enthusiasts and multimedia users.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra boasts an exceptionally slim profile at just 5.1mm, marking Samsung's thinnest tablet to date, though it is only marginally thinner than its predecessor. The 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display retains the previous resolution but features significantly reduced bezels of 5.2mm, delivering a vibrant 120Hz screen with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Weight has been reduced to 692g for Wi-Fi and 695g for 5G models, down from the S10 Ultra's 718g and 723g, offering a noticeable but still substantial feel given the larger scale.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on a 3nm process, providing substantial performance improvements. While Samsung tablets typically lag behind phones in chip optimization, the gains here are significant. The device shares this processor with the more affordable Tab S11 model. One UI 8 brings robust AI integration, including Gemini Live for real-time screen sharing and contextual conversations, Circle to Search with on-the-fly translation, and Drawing Assist that refines hand sketches for use in Samsung Notes.

Productivity is further enhanced with an upgraded DeX system supporting an 'Extended Mode' that enables a true dual-screen experience when paired with an external monitor. The update also introduces up to four customizable workspaces for organized multitasking—something that arrived later than many users expected but is a welcome addition. The redesigned S Pen sports a conical tip with improved tilt sensing and a hexagonal grip, although it loses its Bluetooth capabilities, which may disappoint some users.

Camera capabilities remain modest by tablet standards, with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide on the rear, plus a 12MP ultrawide front camera. Battery capacity has increased to 11,600 mAh from the S10 Ultra's 11,200 mAh, while 45W fast charging remains unchanged. The S11 Ultra distinguishes itself with Wi-Fi 7 support, absent in the standard Tab S11.

Key specifications include a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2960 x 1848 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. RAM options are 12GB or 16GB, with storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, and expandable microSD support up to 2TB. The tablet runs Android 16.0 with One UI 8 and offers connectivity through Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3. Dimensions measure 208.5 x 326.3 x 5.1mm, available in Gray and Silver colors.

In the United States, pricing begins at $1,200 for the 12GB/256GB variant, rising to $1,619 for the 16GB/1TB model. In Nepal, expectations place the starting price at NPR 185,000, reflecting its premium positioning in the local market.
