Samsung Teases Broader Galaxy Z Fold8 Design Ahead of Launch

Samsung has kicked off an official teaser campaign for its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold8, ahead of its anticipated debut at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Although full details remain under wraps, the teasers strongly suggest a significant design shift—a noticeably wider form factor that addresses long-standing user feedback.

The teaser campaign uses everyday objects like pizza slices, chocolate bars, books, and puzzle pieces that morph into a wider rectangular shape, aligning with the tagline “New Shape, New Joy”. This points toward a redesigned aspect ratio for the Galaxy Z Fold8. Earlier leaks have consistently claimed the device will adopt a broader display layout, with an inner display measuring 7.6 inches and an outer display of 5.5 inches, both expected to carry QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
