Google Pixel 10a Launch Date Confirmed, Pre-Orders Opening Soon

Google has officially confirmed that the Pixel 10a, the newest addition to its budget-friendly Pixel a series, will arrive later this month. Global pre-orders are scheduled to open on February 18th, following a February 13th deadline for Google Store subscribers to secure a special offer email. Early signs from teasers and leaks indicate the phone will retain a familiar design, now without the camera bump and featuring a metal frame, while confirmed to launch in a blue color option.

The Pixel 10a is rumored to sport a compact 6.2-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and peak HDR brightness reaching up to 2000 nits, an improvement over the Pixel 9a’s 1800 nits. Under the hood, it is expected to use the Tensor G4 processor paired with the Titan M2 security chip, along with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB via UFS 3.1. The device will run Android 16 out of the box and is said to support seven years of system, security, and feature updates—a significant promise for long-term usability. Dual SIM support will include nano and eSIM configurations.

Camera capabilities are rumored to include a 48MP main rear sensor with optical image stabilization, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. The front camera is expected to be a 13MP shooter capable of 4K video at 30 frames per second. The phone will also boast IP68 water and dust resistance, a sizable 5100mAh battery with both wired fast charging and wireless charging, plus connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
