GoPro HERO 2024 Action Camera Now Available in Nepal

GoPro has officially introduced the HERO 2024 action camera in Nepal, positioning it as an affordable and streamlined alternative to the higher-end HERO13 Black model. This new release is designed for users who want reliable performance in a compact, easy-to-handle package.

The HERO 2024 stands out with its notably small and light build, weighing just 86 grams. It is 35% smaller in volume and 46% lighter than the HERO13 Black, making it exceptionally portable. The camera is built to withstand the elements, featuring waterproofing up to 16 feet (5 meters), which makes it suitable for use in mud, snow, or water. An integrated LCD screen simplifies framing shots, and a single-button interface allows users to switch modes and start recording effortlessly.

In terms of multimedia capabilities, the HERO 2024 can record in Ultra HD 4K and HD 1080p, as well as capture 12MP photos. It also supports slow-motion video at 2.7K resolution at 60 frames per second. Through the Quik app, users can extract 8MP still frames directly from 4K videos. However, it does not include some of the more advanced features found in the HERO13 Black, such as 10-bit color depth, HyperSmooth 6.0 stabilization, Horizon Lock, Horizon Leveling, digital lenses, TimeWarp video modes, or a front-facing display.

Battery life is rated for up to 100 minutes of continuous recording. The HERO 2024 is now available in Nepal for NPR 36,500, offering a practical entry point for enthusiasts looking to capture dynamic content during outdoor activities.
