HMD Unveils Dub Series TWS Earbuds With Six New Models

HMD has expanded its audio product range with the introduction of six new Dub series true wireless stereo earbuds. The Dub series includes three tiers of models catering to different user preferences and budgets, from entry-level earbuds to high-end options with advanced features such as active noise cancellation and premium sound processing.

The flagship model, the Dub X50 Pro, offers DUB Platinum Sound, Hi-Fi DSP, active noise cancellation, and environmental noise cancellation for calls. It boasts an impressive battery life of up to 60 hours with the charging case and supports multipoint connectivity, low-latency mode for gaming and videos, and voice assistant integration. The X50 Pro also features in-ear detection and can provide 185 minutes of playback from just a 10-minute charge, available in Blue and Silver.

The Dub X50 follows closely behind the Pro model with DUB Platinum Sound, Hi-Fi DSP, and environmental noise cancellation. It offers even longer battery life at up to 70 hours and includes fast charging (10 minutes for 220 minutes of playback), low-latency mode, multipoint connectivity, and Fast Pair support, though it lacks active noise cancellation. It comes in Black and White.

In the mid-range category, the Dub S60 supports Dolby Audio and multiple EQ modes through the HMD DUB audio app, along with environmental noise cancellation for calls. It delivers around 35 hours of battery life and offers 140 minutes of playback from a 10-minute charge. While it does not include active noise cancellation, it features low-latency mode and voice assistant support, available in Purple and Gray.

The Dub P70 focuses on bass response with DUB Platinum Sound including Bass Boost, and includes both environmental noise cancellation and active noise cancellation. Similar to the S60, it provides around 35 hours of battery life and 120 minutes of playback from a 10-minute charge. It also offers in-ear detection, low-latency mode, and instant pairing, and is available in White and Black.

The Dub P60 is a lightweight option at just 38 grams, featuring DUB Platinum Sound with Bass Boost, environmental noise cancellation for calls, and voice assistant support. It offers around 30 hours of battery life with the same fast charging capability as the P70 and includes low-latency mode and instant pairing. It comes in Green, White, and Black.

For those seeking the most portable option, the Dub P50 weighs only 35 grams and includes environmental noise cancellation for calls and low-latency mode. It provides around 25 hours of battery life and 120 minutes of playback from a 10-minute charge, available in Black, White, and Blue.

Common features across all models include an IPX4 rating for sweat and splash resistance, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with a 10-meter range, USB Type-C charging, and Hall sensors. Most models feature capacitive touch controls, except for the X50 Pro.

Regarding availability in Nepal, the Dub series is currently priced between PHP 1,390 and PHP 1,990 in the Philippines. If these earbuds launch in Nepal, the Dub P60 is expected to start at NPR 3,500, with the Dub S60 and Dub X50 projected at NPR 4,500 and NPR 4,800 respectively. Pricing for the remaining models has not yet been disclosed.
