Honor Play 60A Debuts in China With Budget-Friendly Design and Solid Performance

Honor has quietly launched the Play 60A in China, positioning it as an affordable option for budget-conscious buyers. The device sports a 6.75-inch TFT LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, paired with eye-friendly display modes for reduced strain.

Under the hood, the Play 60A is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor, built on a 6nm process, which includes two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores and six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are managed by the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, running MagicOS 9 on Android 15.

Camera capabilities are modest, with a single 13MP rear sensor accompanied by dummy units for aesthetic symmetry, while a 5MP front camera sits within a U-shaped notch for selfies and video calls. A substantial 5300mAh battery supports the device, although charging is limited to 15W speeds.

Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, GPS, and NFC. The phone measures 186 grams and is offered in Lake Blue, Azure Sky, and Inky Black colorways.

In China, the Honor Play 60A is priced at CNY 1,599 for the lone 6GB/128GB configuration. Should it become available in Nepal, expectations are that it will carry an approximate price tag of NPR 32,999.
