Honor Magic8 Lite Debuts With Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and Massive 7500mAh Battery

Honor has introduced the Magic8 Lite, the successor to last year's Magic7 Lite. While it is technically part of the Magic8 series, the Magic8 Lite stands apart from other models in the series with its unique design and specifications. The phone boasts a large 7500mAh battery, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, and a bright OLED display, making it an attractive option for users seeking a balanced performance at an affordable price point.

The Magic8 Lite sports a 6.79-inch OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 6000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. The device is built to withstand everyday wear and tear, featuring IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, as well as drop resistance up to 2.5 meters. It is available in three color options: Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown.

Under the hood, the Magic8 Lite is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 15 with Honor's MagicOS 9, offering a smooth and feature-rich user experience.

On the camera front, the Magic8 Lite comes with a 108MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide lens, though real-world performance may not fully reflect the high megapixel count. The front camera is a 16MP shooter, suitable for selfies and video calls. The massive 7500mAh battery supports 66W wired charging, ensuring the device stays powered throughout the day.

Honor has not yet announced the official price of the Magic8 Lite. However, expectations suggest it will start at no less than NPR 48,000 when it becomes available in Nepal.
