Key Takeaways
- Ncell's 4G service is now live in Kathmandu Valley, Banepa, Dhulikhel, and Nagarkot, with Pokhara to follow in July

- Launch day offers include 1GB of free data for three days and a 30-day subscription to Yonder Music
Ncell has begun rolling out its 4G LTE service today, starting in the Kathmandu Valley. Users in Banepa, Dhulikhel, and Nagarkot can also access the new network, while Pokhara will gain 4G coverage on July 1, with further expansion planned for other cities in the months ahead. This development follows NTC’s recent introduction of 4G, ending the wait for Ncell subscribers who have long anticipated the upgrade.
To activate 4G on an Ncell SIM, customers should text Q to 324. If the SIM is already 4G-compatible, the service will activate immediately. For non-compatible SIMs, a free upgrade can be obtained at any Ncell Center with the SIM owner’s citizenship card.
Before activating, users should verify that their phone supports 4G LTE. A list of compatible devices available in Nepal is provided to help with this step. Once confirmed, the network mode in the device settings should be set to 4G LTE to begin using the service.
As a launch incentive, Ncell is offering two special promotions for users who activate 4G today: 1GB of free data valid for three days, and a 30-day subscription to Yonder Music by dialing *325#.
Ncell’s existing data packs remain unchanged for 4G users. These include options ranging from Rs. 10 for 25MB to Rs. 250 for 4800MB, with varying validity periods and differentiated pricing for daytime, nighttime, and all-time usage.
