HP has launched the HyperX Omen 15 (2026) in India to kick off the new year, bringing with it the latest NVIDIA RTX 50-series graphics and new AI-driven features. This gaming laptop comes in two main variants, equipped with either the RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 GPUs, both built on NVIDIA’s new Blackwell architecture. The Omen 15 is powered by the Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, a 16-core processor capable of speeds up to 5.2 GHz, paired with up to 32GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.
A key highlight is the 170W Total Graphics Power (TGP) in Unleash Mode, allowing the laptop to run the most demanding AAA games at high settings. The display is a 15-inch 2.5K IPS panel with a smooth 180Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits, ensuring vivid and responsive gameplay. HP has also integrated its Omen Tempest Cooling system, now featuring self-cleaning fans to reduce dust buildup, a common issue for gaming laptops.
The laptop introduces 8K polling rate technology, reducing input lag to just 0.125 ms for ultra-responsive gaming. Additionally, the One-Touch Omen AI feature automatically adjusts system settings in real time based on usage patterns, optimizing performance for different tasks. In terms of battery life, the Omen 15 carries a 70 Wh 4-cell battery and supports HP Fast Charge, which can take the battery from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes.
Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, an RJ-45 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop also features a 1080p FHD camera with HDR auto-switch and a dedicated privacy shutter, along with security features such as Firmware TPM support and an IR camera for Windows Hello.
Although the HP HyperX Omen 15 has launched in India at starting prices of INR 1,49,999 for the RTX 5050 model and INR 1,59,999 for the RTX 5060 model, it has not yet been officially announced in Nepal. However, based on current market trends, the expected price in Nepal starts around NPR 250,000, with the higher-end RTX 5060 variant likely to cost around NPR 272,000. The laptop is expected to become available through authorized distributors such as Generation Next or ITTI in the near future.
