HP Omen 16 (2021) Launched in Nepal with Updated Pricing

The HP Omen 16 (2021) is now available in Nepal, bringing powerful gaming performance in a sleek design. This model supports either 11th Gen Intel Core processors or the latest Ryzen 5000 series from AMD, combined with NVIDIA RTX 30 series or AMD Radeon 6000M graphics options.

The laptop sports a 16.1-inch display with resolutions up to QHD and refresh rates reaching 165Hz, though it uses a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of the newer 16:10 found in some competitors. The design includes slim side bezels but a larger bottom bezel featuring the Omen logo, available only in Shadow Black.

Performance highlights include configurations with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX or Intel Core i7-11800H processor, paired with graphics options ranging from the RTX 3050 Ti up to the RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6600M. Memory configurations go up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, with storage options including a 1TB NVMe SSD. Notably, Intel-based models utilize PCIe 4.0 for faster SSD speeds, while AMD models are limited to PCIe 3.0.

Additional features include a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard, Bang & Olufsen-tuned dual speakers, and a 720p front camera. Connectivity options are robust, with ports such as Thunderbolt 4 (on Intel models), USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and an Ethernet jack.

Current pricing in Nepal starts at NPR 165,000 for an Intel i5-11400H model with RTX 3050 Ti, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The top-end Intel i7 configuration with RTX 3060 and a 512GB SSD is priced at NPR 178,000. AMD options are also available, with prices adjusted accordingly for different hardware combinations.
