Huawei made a notable appearance at MWC 2015 by showcasing a diverse lineup of new devices, signaling the company's growing focus on tablets and wearable technology. While rivals like Samsung and HTC concentrated on flagship smartphones, Huawei expanded into different tech categories with five fresh introductions.

The standout among the announcements was the Huawei MediaPad X2 tablet, which carries a vibrant 7-inch 1080p IPS display with a dense 323 ppi resolution. Under the hood, it utilizes a powerful 64-bit Kirin 930 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. The tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with a wide 22mm lens and f2.4 aperture. It supports dual-SIM LTE connectivity, dual-band WiFi, and is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI. With a substantial 5000mAh battery and measuring just 7.2mm thin, the MediaPad X2 aims to deliver a premium tablet experience.

Huawei also debuted the Y635, positioned as an affordable entry-level smartphone featuring 4G LTE support. It sports a 5-inch screen with an 854 x 480 resolution, a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of expandable internal storage up to 32GB via a memory card slot. The device includes a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera, along with a user-replaceable 2000mAh battery. Notably, it is the first Huawei smartphone to ship with Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.

In the wearable sector, Huawei presented the Huawei Watch, which boasts a sleek, fully circular design with a 1.4-inch AMOLED display and a sapphire crystal surface. Built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage, the watch offers features such as heart rate monitoring, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, and a 300mAh battery. It will be available in silver, black, and gold variants.

The Talkband B2 arrives as an upgrade to the earlier B1 model, functioning as a Bluetooth-enabled activity tracker with a 6-axis sensor for enhanced motion detection. It can double as a headset for making and receiving calls and promises up to five days of standby time or six hours of talk time. Compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, it will come in black, silver, and gold colors.

Additionally, the Talkband N1 is introduced as a wireless stereo headset capable of handling phone calls and playing music. It includes 4GB of built-in memory, sufficient to store approximately 1000 songs.

Huawei has not yet disclosed pricing or availability details for these new products.
