Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Arrives in Nepal with Premium Design and Advanced Health Features

Huawei has officially brought the Watch GT 3 Pro to the Nepalese market, following its initial release in China earlier this year. As the successor to the popular GT 2 Pro, this latest smartwatch combines elegant aesthetics with robust health and fitness tracking capabilities.

Design and Display Options

The Watch GT 3 Pro comes in two distinct versions. The ceramic model sports a 43mm case and a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, while the titanium variant features a slightly larger 46mm case with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. Both models utilize sapphire glass and offer a choice of premium straps—black Viton or grey leather for the titanium edition, and white leather or white ceramic for the ceramic version.

Health and Fitness Capabilities

A standout feature of the GT 3 Pro is its built-in ECG function, which monitors heart rhythm and electrical activity and has received approval from Chinese medical authorities. The watch also includes a range of other health tracking tools, such as heart rate, blood oxygen, body temperature, sleep, and stress monitoring.

The device is suitable for both swimming and diving, boasting a 5ATM and IP68 waterproof rating, along with a dedicated “Free Diving Mode” that can handle depths of up to 30 meters. Additionally, a “Golf Mode” offers access to over 300 golf courses, and the watch supports more than 100 sports modes in total, including 18 professional options.

Additional Features and Battery Life

The GT 3 Pro includes a built-in speaker and microphone, enabling Bluetooth calling directly from the wrist. It also supports NFC for convenient contactless payments. Huawei claims the titanium version can last up to 14 days on a single charge, while the ceramic model offers around 7 days. The company further states that a quick 10-minute charge can provide enough power for a full day of use.

Specifications and Availability

The watch is compatible with HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, as well as Android 6.0+ and iOS 9.0+. It includes sensors for acceleration, gyroscopy, geomagnetism, optical heart rate tracking, pressure, and temperature. Currently, the Nepalese market sees only the 46mm titanium model with a grey leather strap available, priced at NPR 47,990.
