Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Review: A Fashionable and Long-Lasting Smartwatch

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro stands out as a premium smartwatch that combines elegant design with powerful performance. With its titanium or ceramic finishes, this device offers a luxurious feel that rivals many high-end watches on the market.

We tested the 46mm titanium version, which weighs in at 54 grams without the strap. Despite its solid build, we found it comfortable for daily wear. The watch features a rotating crown and a customizable button, both providing responsive and tactile feedback. Its 1.43-inch AMOLED display delivers vibrant colors and deep blacks, while sapphire glass protection ensures long-term durability.

Where the GT 3 Pro truly shines is its battery life. With normal use including continuous health monitoring, notifications, and Bluetooth calling, we achieved approximately one week of usage from a single charge. Compared to other flagship smartwatches that require weekly charging, this represents a significant advantage. Wireless charging is supported and completes the process in under two hours.

Health and fitness tracking capabilities are extensive, covering 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 levels, sleep analysis, stress tracking, and women's health features. The watch supports over 100 different sports modes, providing detailed metrics for activities such as running, swimming, and hiking. While GPS accuracy proved reliable, we noticed it takes around 8 to 10 seconds to lock onto satellites.

The companion Huawei Health app offers an intuitive interface for viewing all health data, along with various watch faces and customization options. Bluetooth calling works well with clear audio quality, though message reply confirmations are missing, leading to potential duplication issues.

Despite its many strengths, the GT 3 Pro does have some drawbacks. The automatic workout detection failed to activate during our testing, and voice assistant support is absent. Third-party app availability remains limited, and ECG functionality is restricted to certain regions.

Priced at NPR 47,990, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro presents a compelling option for users seeking a stylish smartwatch with exceptional battery endurance and reliable health tracking. While it may lack certain smart features found in competitors, its combination of aesthetics and performance makes it a strong contender in the premium smartwatch segment.
