Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro Arrives in Nepal at NPR 49,990

Huawei has expanded its smartwatch portfolio in Nepal with the launch of the Watch GT 5 Pro, a premium addition to the popular Watch GT series. Available in two distinct sizes and design themes, this model elevates the user experience through advanced materials and comprehensive health and fitness tracking capabilities.

The Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro comes in two sizes: a larger 46mm version and a smaller 42mm variant. Both sizes offer "Sports" and "Classic" editions, differentiated by their band materials, with the larger model featuring a titanium build and the smaller one constructed from nanocrystalline ceramic. The watch cases are correspondingly made from titanium alloy for the 46mm model and nanocrystalline ceramic for the 42mm version, marking an upgrade from the stainless steel used in the standard GT 5 models.

Display specifications remain consistent with the regular GT 5, with the 46mm model boasting a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen and the 42mm variant featuring a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel. Both displays support always-on display functionality, with the smaller model additionally protected by sapphire glass. Pixel densities are impressive at 326PPI for the larger size and 352PPI for the smaller one.

Health and fitness tracking on the GT 5 Pro is extensive, including Bluetooth version 5.2 connectivity, NFC payment support, and Bluetooth calling capabilities. The device offers over 100 workout modes supported by GNSS, along with specialized features such as a comprehensive golf assistant providing access to data from more than 15,000 golf courses complete with 3D views, aiming tips, distance measurements, and club recommendations. A dedicated trail running mode supports segment-based navigation, off-course alerts, contour lines, and zoomable maps controlled via the crown. Divers will appreciate features such as a hover timer, water type identification, safety reminders, apnea training, and stamina-enhancing tests. The watch is also capable of analyzing users' ECGs.

Battery performance remains strong despite the added features and premium build. The larger 46mm model provides up to 14 days of maximum usage and 9 days under typical conditions, while the smaller 42mm version lasts up to 7 days at maximum and 5 days normally. Both models support wireless charging, achieving full charge in approximately one hour.

Pricing for the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro in Nepal is set at NPR 49,990, and the purchase includes a pair of Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 earbuds. The smartwatch is available through authorized Huawei retailers across the country.
