Price and Availability

The iMac M3 is now available from authorized Apple retailers in Nepal. The base model starts at NPR 178,000, with higher configurations also seeing notable reductions:

Design and Display

The iMac M3 retains the same sleek all-in-one design as its predecessor, measuring just 11.5mm thin. It continues to be offered in seven vibrant colors: Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange, and Purple, though the base model is limited to the first four colors.

The display remains a 24-inch Retina screen with 4.5K resolution (11.3 million pixels), P3 wide color gamut, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. No larger screen size has been announced yet.

Performance

The iMac M3 features Apple’s latest M3 chip, offering substantial performance improvements. It includes an 8-core CPU split between four performance and four efficiency cores. Graphics options include either an 8-core or 10-core GPU, along with a 16-core Neural Engine.

Memory configurations go up to 24GB of unified memory, which Apple states is faster than conventional RAM due to its integration with the chip. Storage options extend up to 2TB of SSD, and the system ships with macOS Sonoma.
