Infinix Smart 9 Debuts in Nepal With Helio G81 Processor

Infinix has expanded its affordable smartphone lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Smart 9, a budget-friendly option that targets users seeking essential features without compromising on performance. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor and offers a smooth experience for everyday tasks.

The Infinix Smart 9 sports a 6.7-inch IPS a-Si LCD panel with HD+ resolution, delivering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. Despite its budget positioning, the phone includes an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and comes in four color options: Metallic Black, Neo Titanium, Mint Green, and Sandstone Gold.

Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM that can be expanded through software, and storage options of 64GB or 128GB, with support for up to 2TB of external storage via microSD. It runs on Android 14 (Go Edition) with Infinix’s XOS 14.0 interface.

For photography, the Infinix Smart 9 features a 13MP primary rear camera accompanied by an additional camera of unspecified resolution, while the front camera is an 8MP shooter ideal for selfies and face recognition.

The phone is backed by a sizable 5,000 mAh battery, capable of lasting up to 34 days on standby, although it only supports a modest 10W charging speed.

Currently, the Infinix Smart 9 is available in Nepal exclusively at Dizikart, priced at NPR 11,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
