Insta360 Introduces Antigravity A1 in Nepal, the World’s First 360 Drone

Insta360 has officially brought its Antigravity A1 drone to Nepal, marking a major milestone as the world’s first drone capable of native 8K 360 capture. Announced globally back in August, the A1 is now ready for Nepali creators eager to transform their footage with unprecedented flexibility and visual impact.

The Antigravity A1’s standout feature is its dual-lens 8K 360 camera system, which captures a full spherical view during flight. Using advanced stitching algorithms, the drone itself disappears from the final footage, leaving only smooth, floating camera angles that would otherwise be impossible to achieve. After recording, users can reframe shots, adjust aspect ratios, and even apply creative effects such as Tiny Planet directly in post-processing, effectively turning a single flight into countless unique perspectives.

To enhance the creative experience, Insta360 has integrated FreeMotion technology, which works in tandem with Vision goggles and a Grip controller. This system allows users to look in one direction while the drone flies in another, with live video synced to head movements for a VR-like immersive feel. The controls are designed to be intuitive, featuring point-to-fly functionality that lets creators capture dynamic shots without needing professional piloting skills.

Weighing just 249 grams, the Antigravity A1 is compact and travel-friendly, sitting below most regulatory weight thresholds and eliminating the need for a dedicated carrying case. Safety features such as automatic return-to-home and payload detection further ensure worry-free operation.

The drone is offered in three bundles: the Standard pack starts at NPR 245,000, the Explorer bundle retails for NPR 285,000, and the top-tier Infinity bundle is priced at NPR 298,000. All versions are currently available through Dizikart, Insta360’s official Nepali retail partner.
