Insta360 GO 2 Action Camera Now Available in Nepal

Insta360 has introduced the GO 2, the world's smallest action camera, now available in Nepal. Weighing just 27 grams, this pill-shaped camera allows for high-resolution, hands-free recording without the bulk of traditional action cameras. The GO 2 is water-resistant to IPX8 standards, enabling it to survive pool dives.

The camera features a protective lens that can be replaced with an optional ND filter set sold separately. It includes a built-in magnet that pairs with a magnetic pendant, simplifying attachment to clothing, and comes with a clip for headgear or similar items. The accompanying plastic case has a matte finish and serves multiple functions, including acting as a tripod, remote control, external battery, and charger. It features a 1/4-inch thread for mounting and a USB-C port for charging.

Compared to its predecessor, the GO 2 sports a larger sensor capable of capturing 2K footage at 50 frames per second and HDR video at the same resolution but 24 frames per second. In Pro Video mode, it provides basic stabilization and Insta360's advanced FlowState stabilization. The camera offers four selectable fields of view, including a 120-degree Ultra Wide option and a 110-degree ActionView FOV. Users can also activate AquaVision in the companion app to reduce haze and enhance contrast and color in underwater footage.

Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5, and the camera boasts 32GB of internal storage, with 28GB available for user data. It can be linked with an iPhone or Android smartphone, which serves as a viewfinder. When operating independently, the GO 2 lasts for approximately 30 minutes in video mode or 20 minutes in Pro Video mode. When stored in its case, recording time extends to around 150 minutes in video mode and 110 minutes in Pro Video mode.

The Insta360 GO 2 is priced at NPR 39,000 and is available from retail stores across Nepal.
