Insta360 X3 Now Available at Reduced Price in Nepal

Key Takeaways

  • Price reduced to Rs. 59,000 in Nepal
  • Features 5.7K 360 video, 4K single-lens video, and FlowState stabilization
  • Compact, waterproof design with new touchscreen interface

Insta360 has adjusted the pricing for its X3 action camera in Nepal, offering a more accessible entry point for users. Launched late last year as the follow-up to the well-received One X2, the X3 marks a shift in branding by dropping the “One” label from its X-series lineup.

The X3 maintains a familiar candy bar form factor while introducing notable upgrades. A new 2.29-inch touchscreen replaces the circular display found on the X2, simplifying viewing and control. Two additional glove-friendly buttons provide quick access to a customizable menu and rapid toggling between 360-degree and single-lens modes. The device is protected by tempered glass over the screen and offers waterproofing up to 33 feet. Weighing just 180 grams and measuring 11.4 x 4.6 x 3.3 cm, it remains easy to carry and use.

Under the hood, the camera utilizes a 1/2-inch 48MP sensor paired with improved lenses featuring an f/1.9 aperture and 6.7 mm focal length. It can capture 360-degree footage at up to 5.7K resolution at 30 frames per second and record single-lens videos at 4K resolution at 30 fps. Photo capabilities include 72 MP 360-degree images and standard 18 MP photos. New creative modes such as auto-framing and a photo animator that turns static 360 photos into animated sequences enhance the shooting experience. Additional features include Me Mode for slow-motion recording without the selfie stick, Loop Recording for continuous dashcam-style capture, FlowState Stabilization using a 6-axis gyroscope for smooth footage, Active HDR, Timelapse, and TimeShift modes.

Powering the X3 is an 1,800 mAh battery that delivers up to 81 minutes of use, with a charging time of around 90 minutes via USB-C. The camera connects to smartphones through the Insta 360 app, enabling on-the-go editing of videos and photos. It supports exFAT microSD cards up to 1TB for storage.

Currently, the Insta360 X3 is available from authorized action camera retailers throughout Nepal at a revised price of Rs. 59,000.
