Apple Launches M3 iPad Air (2025) in Nepal With Updated Pricing

Apple has officially launched the M3 iPad Air (2025) in Nepal, introducing major upgrades across performance, design, and functionality. The new iPad Air comes in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, powered by the advanced M3 chip that delivers an 8-core CPU, a 9-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. This represents a substantial performance leap, offering roughly double the power of the M1 iPad Air released in 2022.

The display options include an 11-inch Liquid Retina screen with a 2388 x 1668 resolution and 500 nits brightness, and a larger 13-inch Liquid Retina panel with 2732 x 2048 resolution and 600 nits brightness. Both screens operate at a 60Hz refresh rate, though they do not support ProMotion technology for adaptive refresh rates. The device is constructed from 100% recycled aluminum and includes rare earth elements, with color choices of Blue, Purple, Starlight, and Space Gray. Dimensions measure 9.74 x 7.02 x 0.24 inches for the 11-inch model weighing 1.02 lbs, and 11.09 x 8.46 x 0.24 inches for the 13-inch model weighing 1.36 lbs. While Touch ID remains embedded in the power button, Face ID has been omitted.

Storage options span 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities, all paired with 8GB of RAM. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G support for cellular variants, alongside a USB-C 3.1 port for fast data transfers. The iPad supports spatial audio with Dolby Atmos through stereo speakers and provides up to 10 hours of browsing or video playback on a single charge. Camera equipment consists of a 12MP wide rear camera with Smart HDR 4 and 4K video recording, plus a 12MP ultra-wide front camera supporting Center Stage for video calls.

New for this generation are Apple Intelligence features that enhance writing tools, image generation capabilities, and Siri functionality, though these advanced AI tools will initially roll out only to select regions and languages. The updated Magic Keyboard now includes a larger trackpad and a dedicated row of function keys for improved typing and navigation experiences.

In terms of pricing, the 11-inch WiFi-only 128GB model begins at NPR 97,500, with cellular versions available for NPR 129,000. The 13-inch models start at NPR 135,600 for the base WiFi configuration.
