Apple iPad mini 6 (2021) Price and Features in Nepal Revealed

Apple has launched the iPad mini 6 (2021) in Nepal, marking a significant update over its predecessor with several key enhancements. This compact tablet now features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display that delivers 500 nits of brightness, True Tone technology, and the wide P3 color gamut, resulting in vivid and accurate colors. The screen resolves at 2266 x 1488 pixels with a dense 326 PPI, making text and images appear sharp and crisp.

Under the hood, the iPad mini 6 is powered by the impressive A15 Bionic chip, the same processor found in the iPhone 13 series. This chip offers a 40 percent faster CPU and an 80 percent improvement in graphics performance compared to the previous generation, ensuring smooth multitasking and responsive app performance. It also supports 5G connectivity, allowing users to choose between Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + Cellular models for faster download and streaming speeds.

The tablet runs on iPadOS 15 out of the box, bringing new features and enhancements to the user experience. For photography and video, the iPad mini 6 includes a 12MP rear camera capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second, supported by Smart HDR 3 and a quad-LED True Tone flash. On the front, another 12MP camera with a 122-degree field of view supports Center Stage, automatically adjusting the frame to keep the user centered during video calls.

In terms of connectivity, the device features dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. It also includes stereo speakers for an enriched audio experience and supports the Apple Pencil 2nd generation, which magnetically attaches to the side for convenient wireless charging. Sensors on board include Touch ID, a 3-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, a barometer, and an ambient light sensor.

The iPad mini 6 is available in four color options: Purple, Pink, Space Gray, and Starlight. In Nepal, the 64GB Wi-Fi only model is priced at NPR 85,000, while the 256GB Wi-Fi only version costs NPR 110,000. The Wi-Fi + Cellular variants are priced at NPR 108,000 for the 64GB model and NPR 135,000 for the 256GB version, though some configurations are currently out of stock.
