New EMI Option Lets You Buy an iPhone With Just Your Citizenship in Nepal

Purchasing an iPhone just got much more accessible in Nepal thanks to a new EMI program that lets buyers walk out with their chosen model using only a citizenship card. The initiative, offered through Jagadamba Hire Purchase, removes the need for large upfront payments and introduces three flexible repayment timelines to suit different budgets.

The process is straightforward: applicants need to present their citizenship along with a witness’s citizenship. Once approved, buyers pay a 50 percent down payment at purchase, with the remaining balance converted into equal installments over six, nine, or twelve months. Interest rates start at 9 percent for the shortest plan and rise to 14 percent for the longest term, and the full interest amount must be paid upfront along with the down payment.

This EMI option covers a broad range of current iPhones, from the iPhone 14 all the way to the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max. As an added incentive, every EMI customer receives a complimentary pair of AirPods 4, effectively adding another Apple product to their purchase.

The program removes traditional financial barriers, allowing Nepalese consumers to acquire the latest Apple smartphones without needing to pay the full price immediately. Buyers can select the repayment schedule that best matches their financial situation, making premium iPhone ownership more practical and attainable.
